Remote Support Instructions
Go to http://www.mikogo.com/download/windows-download/ and click on the Free Download Button. Follow the instructions that are on that page to install the software.
When it is running it puts an icon with a red 'M' in the system tray.
Participating in Remote Support
- Whenever you require remote support you will be asked to click on this icon and choose 'Join Meeting'.
- Enter the 9 digit session code that we will give you, either over the phone or via email and click the 'Join Meeting' button.
- You will then see the support pesenter's screen.
- The support presenter will then switch screens and you will see a message asking if you accept to become the presenter. Close any confidential windows before clicking 'Yes'.
- The support presenter's screen will then disappear.
- Click the Mikogo icon again in the system tray and go to Remote Control and click on the support presenter's name.
- The support presenter will the be able to control your screen as well as yourself and the session can continue as long as is needed.
- At the end of the session, the support presenter will end the meeting and you will see a message to say that the meeting has ended appear on your screen - it can no longer be viewed remotely.
